Towards the middle of the semester, we were given an assignment to bring in two objects that represented our perception of education. I brought an architectural scale. This artifact to me embodied the technical skills that I have been learning for the past four years. I also brought a moket of a sculpture that I have been working on. This artifact represented the theories that are carried out with our technical skills.
With these object at hand, we were to complete sets upon sets of drawings based on these forms. Taking form, texture, scale, and materiality into consideration we abstracted and abstracted. By the end… well, we had a lot of drawing.
